Points of Recommendation

In many tea ceremony experience programs, participants only learn how to imitate enjoying a tea ceremony or making tea, but experiencing the tea ceremony is more than just experiencing how to make tea.
You will also learn that the tea ceremony is the culmination of Japan’s traditional integrated arts and culture.
The original tea ceremony is where tea is served with sweets and light meal for tea, along with tea that has been prepared with the spirit of “one opportunity, one encounter”.
You will learn the spirit of the tea ceremony, which is connected to the teachings of Zen, and the spirit of “harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility” taught by Sen no Rikyu.
